You'd be surprised to know how many folks cant make rice correctly. For many years I either over cooked and burned it or undercooked it and it was crunchy. At one point I only I did 5 minute rice in the bag cause I jacked it up the regular way lol🙂... I'm good now and can cook all kinds of rice correctly.
@@rachelmm05 Haha I understand how difficult it is. As someone who grew up with a rice cooker, I don't want to attempt cooking it on a pot and risk burning it and having to clean it.
With this video though, it is kinda like seeing a recipe of someone making toast over open-flame, and everyone else would be thinking "wait what about using a toaster?" lol

Yeah it's horrifying, rice cooker rice is the most consistent. But I guess a lot of people don't eat rice too much.
I eat a lot of rice, but my family cooks it in a pressure cooker. They're just used to it.

We eat rice everyday, but my mom cooks rice in a pot on the stove because you cannot get rid of the starch in the rice-cooker.
I’m 26 and didn’t know most of these, so I appreciate the video! I’ve never learned to cook, never honestly had the time or energy so unfortunately, I got used to frozen meals and fast foods. Happily changing that around now :)

I enjoy watching other people cook and learning recipes and techniques. One of the reasons I've started my own channel...! Food should make everyone Happy...!
I'm 20 and learned how to make scrambled eggs this year and i am proud of myself 🙋
I began cooking around July and have since then succeeded and/or failed at these foods, but at least i tried making them:
Grilled cheese, rice, beans, quinoa, omelet, spinach and artichoke dip, cinnamon rolls, reg. pancakes, oatmeal pancakes, smoothies/shakes, veggie platter, yogurt, broccoli n cheese, basil tomato pasta soup, waffles, french toast, steamed veggies, kale chips, potato chips, spaghetti and cheese, and more. All were started from scratch, except recipes that included loafs of bread like a grilled cheese sandwich or french toast :D
I really wish they'd list the ingredients just a tad bit lower. The recommended videos tab always pops up during the video & hides it. First world problem but damn it's annoying.

I always knew how grilled cheese was made, actually made it during quarantine. I’m 16. I’ve never fucked it up too badly, the worst thing that happened was that it was to greasy.

Absolutely no one. As someone who's been cooking rice since they were 12, that was definitely not the way to wash it. :/
If you let it run and occasionally move it by the time its clear the starch is gone so this is good if your in a pinch
